Works proactively under general supervision to support the conference and event center, at Arizona Western College. This position works to enhance business processes by supporting audio-visual technology needs at conferences, and events. This position is unique and requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required. Serves Students. Provides Audio/visual technology support for AWC internal and external customer events, supports clients, and enhances events, at the Yuma Campus. May support multiple events per day.

This position provides clerical/administrative support for a specific department and serves as the point of contact. Serves Students. Oversees the front desk/area by answering phones, and responding to inquiries in person, emails, and other forms of communication. Provides coverage for

others while out of the office. Directs students to various locations on campus. Provides detailed information for students and employees.

Experimental Production Agronomist- SAKATA

Salary: $60,000-$85,000

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of production research and experimental production. Duties include inspecting new seed material to guarantee authenticity, managing administrative tasks related to research projects, coordinating work activities with area managers and field personnel, and collaborating with product managers to ensure the feasibility of new materials. Additionally, responsible for updating abstract reports and distributing information to relevant parties on time.

Full-time Research Technician for Vegetable Breeding Program

Responsibilities include preparation, evaluations, and harvest of onion, broccoli, and other crops. The applicant should have field experience and good knowledge of vegetable crop cultivation and management.

Continuous Improvement Specialist- GOWAN

This position is part time, with option to transition to full time, based on department need and employee performance. This position reports into the Logistics Manager.

  • Coordination of shipping and receiving activities

  • Tracking of daily production and material usage

Safety and Food Safety Coordinator

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 a year

 

  • As Safety, oversees documentations produced by personnel in safety department.

  • Assist with internal inspection program, including 3rd party audits.

  • Responsibility (authority) for quality and food safety.

  • Update company safety & food safety program.

  • Handles daily safety documentation.

  • Assists farm supervisors to understand and implement company policies.

  • Implement and maintain all food safety related documents for the operations.

Rangeland Management Specialist

  • Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.

  • The incumbent is responsible for preparing, evaluating and conducting biological analyses of public rangeland projects.

Planning & Zoning Commission Administration Specialist- Yuma County

Coordinates Planning & Zoning Commission and Board of Adjustment meetings, assures all functions are performed in accordance with applicable State and Federal laws, County ordinances and policies and procedures; records and transcribes minutes for the Planning and Zoning Commission and Board of Adjustment Hearings; manages the recording, distribution and maintenance of the records related to the official action of the Planning and Zoning Commission and Board of Adjustment; posts public meeting notices and agendas; prepares and distributes meeting agenda and information packets for Planning & Zoning Commission and Board of Adjustment meetings

AAA Case Manager

Perform in-home needs assessment, verify eligibility, and develop client assistance plan. Collaborate with WACOG staff and providers to ensure services are provided and follow-up as needed. Act as a liaison between client and community agencies; promote services, educate clients, encourage utilization of available services, and assist in completing applications for these services which may include State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). Prepare and maintain current and accurate files, enter data and/or download client data into relevant software programs.

Fostercare and Kinship Program Supervisor

  • Provides supervision and support to staff. 

  • Oversees the services performed by contracted staff, interns, and volunteers.

  • Provides consultation and organizes training opportunities and sharing of staff expertise for assigned program area.

  • Provides supervisions, coaching and performance evaluations according with Agency's standards. 

  • Interviews and selects candidates to fill open positions following agency best practices.

  • Conducts program evaluation and applied research activities within the program.

  • Assesses the needs pertaining to program area, and meets those needs with existing resources or recommends the development of additional resources and relays information to the Director.
