J &V Farm 

Seasonal intern to join us at JV Farms starting August. The role involves tracking inventory, performing data entry, and assisting with various warehouse tasks and field trial evaluations. The intern will need to have their own vehicle. Workdays will be Wednesdays and Fridays, with the possibility of adding Mondays.

Video Editing & Film Festival Promoter Internship

Yuma County Cooperative Extension is seeking two actively enrolled University of Arizona students for a 20hr/week paid internship to help make an educational adventure movie. The film is currently in the final stages of production with expected release this What kind of movie? These Drying Times' is a post-apocalyptic movie set in Yuma Arizona in the year 2075. The Colorado River has dried and everyone moves away, but a local group uses irrigation con servation techniques to survive and unite the tribes. The story is centered around a group of college aged youths that undergo a quest to find parts to build soil moisture meters and teach good agricul tural practices along the way. Help is needed to assist our staff videographer with shooting the final scenes, editing, and promo . The film will be entered into film festivals around the world and assistance will be needed to make promotional material and assist with the process.
